HISTORY



Lorena Gonzalez was born in Bogota, Colombia 23 years ago, and was proud of her Colombian heritage. She was a humble person, easy to get along with, and a great friend. She was loved and much appreciated by those that had the chance to know her. She was very loving and respectful towards her family.

Lorena was an outstanding student, and she accomplished great achievements academically. She had many gifts and talents in music, writing, and also artistically. Some of her hobbies were painting, drawing, reading and making bracelets. She inspired those around her. She was very determined in what she set her mind to do, she always did her best at everything she ever did.

Lorena was diagnosed with an eating disorder called Anorexia. She battled with Anorexia for seven long years. She began in Junior High, and she was always a healthy young girl. She enjoyed many types of food, when her mom Martha would make her lunch she would always ask for more. She was never concerned about the way her body looked; however, by the time she was thirteen things changed. She started obsessing with working out and watching calories with everything she ate, until this illness took her life.

She was an amazing gift from God.
